Some extraordinary exhibitions on in Paris...so have to be very selective ....this exhibition was not to be missed at Centre Pompidou.
From nearly 10,000 works there were 230 works showing a new interpretation of his work in relationship with concepts of irony.

Klee discovers Cubism in 1911...
Nothing like connecting with the Dadaists to bring out a new medium...automation and puppets it was for Klee using mechanical simplification as a powerful criticism of man's loss of vitality and shrinking inner life ....these hand puppets were made for Klee's son and went on to make 50 more; completing them by 1925.
