People ask me why I keep coming back to Paris....the answer is easy. For curiosity, for history, for visual beauty! All never-ending here.....
Visit to the Musée du Quai Branly was no exception! It resembles a giant footbridge over a 4.5 acre garden and follows the curve of La Seine....3,500 exhibits on the arts and civilizations of Africa, Asia the Americas and Oceania. Found a treasure in the Musée that is coming home with me.
When we were last in Paris, we happened to pass the Branly on its opening day as we headed to the airport. The coolest, chicest looking people were standing in line waiting to enter. However, it was seeing the vertical garden that made me want to jump from the car! It was the first time I'd seen such a thing. If what's inside matches the architecture and garden, wow, it must be incredible!
ReplyDeleteCheck out what is going on at the Champs L'Eysees on the weekends. Certain portions were closed on Sundays for various markets etc while we were there. It was amazing!
ReplyDeleteParis is like a bottomless cup of coffee; just when you think you are done, the cup becomes full again :)
C'est la vie !
